Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree: Passed graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from a recognised University (UGC approved) in any discipline — Arts, Science, Commerce or Engineering.

Minimum Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in graduation. For SC/ST/OBC candidates: 45% as per government norms.

Entrance Exam: Candidate Must Pass The College Entrance Exam Or Test

Age Limit: No upper age limit for PGDM admission. Working professionals with relevant experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Final Year Students: Students in their final year of graduation may also apply provisionally, subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility at the time of counselling.

Selection Process: Candidate Must Pass The College Entrance Exam Final merit list prepared on the basis of graduation marks, entrance score, GD and PI performance.

What is the minimum qualification required for PGDM admission?
Candidates must have passed graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from a recognised university in any discipline. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required. Final year students may apply provisionally, subject to meeting eligibility at the time of counselling.
Is there any entrance exam for PGDM admission?
Applicants may submit a valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT score or appear in MPI's own PGDM Management Aptitude Test (PMAT). Shortlisting is based on graduation marks, entrance score, GD and Personal Interview.
What is the total fee for the PGDM programme?
The total 2-year PGDM programme fee is ₹110,000 (₹55,000 per year), payable semester-wise at ₹27,500 per semester. Hostel accommodation is available separately at ₹30,000/year inclusive of meals and amenities. Merit scholarships of 25%, 50% and 100% fee waiver are available. There are no hidden charges.
Can I change my specialisation after joining PGDM?
Specialisation is chosen during admission and confirmed before the start of Semester III. A change may be permitted before Semester III subject to seat availability and approval from the PGDM Department Head and Principal.
What is the internship arrangement in PGDM?
An 8-week mandatory Summer Internship follows Semester II, with placements at MPI's corporate partners. Students are evaluated on an internship report, presentation and mentor feedback. Internship stipends range from ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month.
What is the average and highest salary package for PGDM graduates?
For the 2023–24 batch, the average package was ₹5.5 LPA and the highest package was ₹10 LPA. Finance specialisation has the highest average followed by Marketing, Operations, and HR. Many students also pursue MBA or executive programmes after PGDM.
Is hostel facility available for PGDM students?
Yes, separate hostel facilities are available for male and female PGDM students on campus. The hostel fee is ₹30,000 per year inclusive of room, mess (3 meals/day) and basic amenities. The hostel has 24/7 security, Wi-Fi, laundry and recreation facilities.
